how it works

The typical tutoring session is an hour long, and most students meet at least once a week. There is no need to commit for the entire school year. I work on a month-to-month basis. You may end tutoring services at the end of a month with a two-week notice.

Please realize there are limited time slots during the school year. If I do not have an opening in my schedule initially, I will add your child to my waiting list.

where I work

During the school year, I primarily work in the Oak Grove and Oakhurst neighborhoods in Dekalb County. The tutoring sessions can take place at your house, a local coffee shop or library. Most of my students attend these intown Atlanta schools:

payment

Tutoring sessions will be prepaid by the month for the entire month. Payment is due on the first week of each month and can be paid by Venmo, cash or check. The monthly invoice will be sent via e-mail prior to the due date. Contact me to inquire about hourly rates and availability.

termination of services

Tutoring commitments are on a month-to-month basis, so there is no need to commit to the entire school year. It will be assumed that you are continuing and your time slot will be reserved for you until you give me notification to terminate. If tutoring services need to be terminated at any time throughout the school year, a two-week notice is required.

inclement weather

Tutoring sessions will still go on even if schools are closed for inclement weather, unless I am unable to drive to the session location. If this is the case, I will notify you the day of the session. Lessons cancelled by me will either be rescheduled or credited to the following invoice.
